PADS (Pragmatic Audio Distribution System)
A simple high-performance multi-room audio system that utilizes only standard
cat5 cables to send audio, data and power.
This system offers more than twice the power, three times the cat5 cable distance
and an order of magnitude higher fidelity than competing solutions on the
market today !
PADS COMPONENTS
HUB
This PADS hub receives line level stereo audio on
cat5 cable from any of the PADS transmitter and
distributes it to four rooms with power for the
amplifiers on the cat5 cable. The system is infinitely
expandable with the loop output.
PADS Transmitter (PT/PTI/PTW/PTWI)
PT: This unit sends line level stereo audio signal
from the unit to PADS hub on Cat5 cable.
This is an ideal unit for retro-fit into a home
with existing structured wiring.
PTI: This unit is similar to PT, but adds
IR emitter output for source equipment
control
PTW: This unit sends line level audio signals
from the wall-plate to the PADS
hub on Cat5 cable.
PTWI: This unit is similar to PTW, but
adds IR emitter output for source
equipment control.
PADS Receiving Unit (PA15-R / PA15-RI)

PA 15-R:This unit receives line level stereo audio
signals and amplifiers to drive speakers.
PA 15-RI:This unit is similar to PA 15-R but adds
IR detector, local source input and doorbell/
paging input.
PADS Keypad (PADS-KP1)
The PADS keypad unit controls any of the other PADS equipments (transmitters, hub, receivers etc)
connected to it.
PADS Doorbell unit (PDM & PDB)

PDM: This PADS door-bell module accepts signals
from the PDB paging module and PPM paging
modules and sends to four rooms for distribution.
PDB: This unit is a door-bell
input for PADS system.
PADS Paging unit (PPM & PPT)

PPM: This PADS paging module accepts signals
from four PPT units, and combines to one
common page out signal for connector to
PDM and distribution to four rooms.
PPT: This unit is a paging
input to the PADS
system.
PADS SYSTEMS
The following three packages are available:
PADS Bronze package - Audio
distribution to 4 rooms (infinitely expandable to as many rooms as desired)
PADS Silver package - Audio
distribution and IR signal transport to 4 rooms (infinitely expandable to
as many rooms as desired)
PADS Gold package - Audio distribution,
IR signal transport, multi-input selection, door-bell and paging options,
etc. (easily expandable)
