Overview
The HazCam™ RES-1 extends the reach of a HazCam™ deployment: a tripod-mounted high-gain directional antenna with battery-powered receiver, paired with a tripod-mounted high-gain directional antenna with a battery-powered integrated wireless video transmitter. The Rx and Tx units connect with a single cable for fast implementation in the field.
The complete system ships in a waterproof rugged Pelican®-class case with an integrated battery charger, ready for quick deployment. Transmission range between camera and receiver typically extends beyond 1200–1500 feet in an open field, letting teams monitor chemical, biological or other hazardous situations from a safe distance.
