Overview
The HideAway™ IWC™ In-Wall Camera System is the affordable answer for doorway and access-point security over category-5 twisted pair: a high-performance 1/3" CCD camera and its drive electronics fit in a single junction box with one RJ-45 connector.
Video travels down Cat3 or Cat5 to the receiver - which plugs into a monitor and time-lapse VCR - while power for the camera rides the same Cat5, so nothing else is needed at the remote end, up to 400 ft away. Options include a pin-hole lens for covert use, fisheye for wide angle, a C/CS-mount adaptor, a 0.05-lux starlight/night-vision camera, a high-resolution color camera, a weather-proof enclosure and a tamper-resistant steel faceplate.
