Overview
The PDP-1-4K is Pragmatic's 4K digital signage player for digital signage, hospitality and corporate installations. Each unit ships pre-configured: connect an HDMI display, switch it on, and it starts playing the content pre-loaded in its internal memory - and after any power reset or failure it boots and resumes playback automatically, unattended.
Content reaches the player over hard-wired 10/100 Ethernet or WiFi through the external antenna, with optional 3G/4G mobile and PPPoE connections covered in the user's manual; a TF memory-card slot and USB ports handle local media. Configuration takes the included IR remote or an optional USB mouse, with Player ID, Corp ID and player-name provisioning for managing fleets of screens. For signage audio, pair the 3.5 mm output with an MBA-120 HideAway™ amplifier driving a PHA directional speaker.
