Overview
The LSAD-1 is a cost-efficient life-saving innovation: when triggered by a life-safety or fire-alarm system, it kills background audio so no adult or child misses an alarm because music was playing. It sits between any music source and the distribution equipment - a PADS™ hub, receiver, preamp or amplifier.
It works with all common fire panels and alarms via a 5-24 VDC signal or relay contact, provides an interface to non-fire paging equipment for routine announcements, and installs quickly wherever a fire system is already in place. Its small, compact size mounts unobtrusively.
