Overview
The PH16 scales the PADS™ system to sixteen zones from a single hub. PADS™ is Pragmatic's proprietary technology for carrying stereo audio, power and control signals on a single Cat5 cable - up to 300 ft / 100 m over standard Cat5/Cat5e, Cat3/Cat6 and other UTP or shielded twisted-pair cables, with plug-and-play point-to-point, daisy-chain or star distribution.
Each RJ-45 port feeds a PADS™ audio endpoint with stereo audio, DC power and control on one cable - the backbone for campus-wide background music, multi-room audio in hospitality and healthcare, and distributed retail audio, with energy-efficient, very low power consumption.
