Overview
The PHA-184's high-performance, full-range drivers offer a well-defined dispersion pattern with no hot spots. It is a compact array speaker designed to work on its own or paired with flat-panel displays and video walls in industrial, commercial and residential home-theater applications. The dual-ported design offers extended low-frequency response rivaling that of many in-ceiling, in-wall and on-wall speakers.
Mounted horizontally as a soundbar, the signal drops off dramatically off-axis while maintaining a very uniform sound field in the vertical dimension. Mounted as a vertical column, it delivers a uniform sound field 360° around the speaker - ideal for public venues or hidden away at home. Options include an external HideAway™ amplifier and a PADS™ or TPA receiver.

In the field
Eight PHA-184B arrays (the black-finish PHA-184) at a collaboration space at 100 Post Street, San Francisco - slipped between the wood ceiling slats alongside the linear lights, black-on-black against the acoustic backing. The dual-ported compact arrays carry program audio with extended low-frequency response while the architecture stays untouched - find the speaker without the callout.
